Stop for a second
Can you feel that
Can you see, sense or smell that
It's my affection for you
You can't feel that as it doesn't run through your veins
I feel a connection
Like silver threads
They tangle around my heart
And unseen it cobwebs around your fingertips
You can't feel it as it is spun to lightly
And my reactions to your actions are too small
Because you dont want to see my affection
So I hang aloof
I delude myself
Saying maybe later
Later on down the track
Maybe in the future
Maybe another life
But in another life would you seen me
See what I would like us to be
I dont know that answer
And another life is a life time away
I hope I can wait
