crimson petals for your love
fragrant scent only for yours alone
a rose's beauty sets you above
and its shine fails
where your love has shown
love has pain
this we all know
but simple and plain
this love flows
roses have thorns
none can deny
but the only prick
or pain I feel tonight
is the pounding of my heart
right here inside...
