Can't let u get to me

I wish I could leave u,
I wish I could run away,
So u can have your space,
And I can have mine too,
I've never seen this thing,
It's like a person without a name,
You tell me that your so sorry,
And I just don't say nothing

Take me away from all this pain,
I just wan't to stay,
By myself and live without misery,
Can't let u get to me

Never tried to make u be,
The one who was hurting,
Now it's me,
I feel like I can't breathe,
Sometimes u push me,
To the point when I can't,
Keep my anger in,
It's funny cause you'll never win

I've promised myself,
That you will never,
Hurt me again,
So this is for u,
Listen to what I say,
Can't let u get to me

Sitting here asking myself,
Why do I cry,
Just don't know why,
I put up with u,
Or try to impress u,
You were my best friend,
Just one touch from u,
Touched my heart

But now your not the person,
I thought I knew,
So I let my soul rest,
I found out the only,
Way to get u is to,
Pass your test
Won't let u get to me

Sorry won't cut it,
If u buy me a gift,
I don't wan't it,
So many times u look at me,
And say nothing,
Can u image how bad that hurts me,
Don't try to apologize now,
I can't forgive and forget,

Let me be free,
Just gotta be,
You,
Who always hurts me,
I need someone to console me,
Can't let u get to me
