I did not get instructions
He let my will,up to this point,
Lead me in all directions
He led me here, he led you there
And all the while I knew
That one day soon you would love me
And I would love you, too
We have met others,that is true
But they were not meant to be
It was practice for the day
When I met you and you met me
He knew by then that we would know
This was the real thing
And that you would tell me in a song
That only you could sing
Without our knowledge or consent
Our paths were meant to cross
And I thank him gratefully everyday
That we did not get lost
So when I look into your eyes
And touch you tenderly
Just know that I am thanking him

When God put me upon this earth
I did not get instructions
He let my will,up to this point,

I am so sorry for your loss. Sadly we only the love, not the instruction manual. But I will take the love and make the errors anytime rather than miss the chance. This is a lovely lovely write.

i agree with you Rita id rather love than miss out on the chance.......love can hold you so tight but leave you on the ground to bleed,you just have to know how to play its game.very good wirte, and i am sorry for your loss.i must have been hard but it sounds like you are strong.

Love is the only thing that will keep us eternal...and I'm sure if he could he would say Thank you for loving me.
