She gazes at the pictures not far away
There is Mama and Papa and the whole Family still
As they were ,seems only yesterday.

Strange how she can't remember, what she had for a meal in the morning .
But the sweet smell of the Clover and cut red flower, in her memories, are just as clear as this minute, today.

So she gathers her thoughts, and when things go out of sorts
She can simply remember her childhood or
her loves , her books or HER Warts.

This little Old Women, who's lived such a life . Gets so much more enjoyment from Memeries then Life.
So heres the proof dear reader we need not fear Old Age
Just think of it in reverse and don't look for the worst. A really great poem, I am now in that age of your old woman and it is true what you say what happened yesterday is practicall forgotten but what happened fifty or sixty years ago is still vivid in my minds eye.Thank you for a wonderful poem

bernard.
