Living my life this way will be the demise of me and my soul one day
Letting dope have control, I never thought I'd sink this low
The cravings I can hardly bare
Amongst this darkness I can see the light glare
I know I can win this evil bout
With faith I have no doubt
Oh lord, won't you cleanse me with your rain
What I seek is salvation
In this demonic, backwards nation
Numerous paths to choose
Why must I follow the trail that leaves a bruise
If I could take it all back, but then would faith in God I lack
Only time will tell
I beg lord lead me on the path to get well
