Closing my eyes
I find a real dark place
If only I plug my ears
It would be added grace
The silence
The darkness
Together are the same
When I am lonely
It is my private game
If I meditate
For a long period of time
All the stress and burden
I can really feel unwind
When I try real hard
A figure or face I see
And not once ever
Has a figure or face been me
As it seems
I am trying to find my inner soul
Or just some real inner piece
To give me a new goal
Closing my eyes
Is my way of finding me
Even though my eyes are closed
I found I still can see
Visions are real
Figures are black and white
My eyes are closed
And yet I still have sight
It is a gift to me
Given from God above
The closer I get to my soul
I find a heart full of love
This game I play
To mend my stressed out mind
It helps me to find inner love
And to be of the loving kind
The figures and faces
I truly can see
It often makes me wonder
Why they come to me
Perhaps its another soul
Crying for someones help
If only my ears were not plugged
I might hear them yelp
I say yelp
Because it describes crying in pain
I think by now
You all must think Im insane
So close your eyes
And see what you feel
Enter a world of darkness
And find your soul to heal.

| it seems God has blessed you with many things, the gift to see and the gift of writting...you are and amazing poet, i can only aspire to write this well...you have a way of putting things down that draw people in to whatever you talking about...a gift no all of us posess...im gonna try it myself closing my eyes and finding me in the process, as i know i dont posess the other gift you have...its great that you see it as a blessing itis easier to embrace and accept that way...keep them coming...slr |
