“Even if it IS all LIES it’s true!”
Well, these are our glorious leaders
Those who lead us to

Future World

The business man:
“We will create life through death!”
The world we know re-formed
Replace the real with phony dreams
To make money and to make

Future World

The priest:
“I suffer the little children to suck my ****!”
Another ugly face
Another dirty mirror
in the wondrous all new

Future World

The director:
“Such a wonderful creation, did you see the body explode!”
Not the recreation of life
But creation of death on screen
A bloody reflection of

Future World

The doctor:
“You need this stuff, my insurance says so!”
As you are slowly drugged asleep
Or die quickly with the knife
The powerful protect themselves in

Future World

The scientist:
“People are dying and we must have millions for research!”
Though endlessly academic, the suffering goes on
But not on the gravy train,
This career's secure in

Future World

The soldier
“I exist to kill and do my government’s will!”
What’s right is not for me to question
But what can be achieved by might
Giving me direction to

Future World

The citizen:
“All I want is all I can get!”
Feeding an ever widening mouth
Spreading a belly too big for a bed
Hooked into the disgorging ass of

Future World

The child:
“Gimme, gimme, gimme!”
Another feeder on the pus oozing
From a machine to wreck a world
Replaced by pretty illusion
And the ugly consumption of death

Future World

So true it's scary. A wonderful write. Your poem is very insightful and caused me to think a lot. I like that in a poem. Good job!
