sunset the gargoyles sit upon their perch
staring down at the procession of people
all entranced walking aimlessly not seeing
not caring just moving steadily along past
the gargoyles with their large eyes glowing
in the dusk continously staring downward
making you feel they are counting all the
lost souls who will pass beneath thier
twin towers of death

i awake once more this time i dont want to
know what the gargoyles have to say i know
death lurkes around the corner it always does
but as much as i try to ignore they refuse to
let it be its message of death to me is strong

against the backdrop of the bloodred
sunset the gargoyles sit upon their perch

as is everything. it could be better, it could be worse. it doesnt suck and it isnt great to me. that is because i in no way can or care to relate to this. life is a death sentence.
