The night is cold and dark and still
the vampiress has not had her fill
she stalks and follows
her eyes, dark hollows
her prey runs along, fearing the worst
her eyes full of hunger because of the thirst
a white bloodstained dress catches his eye
and upon seeing it, he starts to cry
he cries for a lost love, as fangs prick his neck
and he falls, lifeless onto the deck
the Vampiress has had her fill

I liked this a lot - very dark and I was able to imagine clearly the expression on his face, thanks to your descriptive ability!
