[bodytext] => Red is the color of love. The love for the ones lost in a tragic moment. Red was the pure blood smeared across the futures of the innocent. Because of a killer's transgressions against a peaceful nation. White represents purity and innocence at its simplest. The innocence of a little child waiting for daddy to come home. White is the painted door that will never open to what she wishes. Blue is the symbol of loyalty. The loyalty of worn-out soldiers fighting terrorism for our freedom. Freedom that many seem to neglect to remember. All three colors blend together to create a flag Waving in the night sky as a shimmer of hope, Guiding our soldiers and acting as a haven for loved ones left behind The flames of war will die, but our flag remains through the smoke as the memory of September 11th does in our minds.
