Read between the lines The shades of grey Between the black and the white Shadows of indifference Shading your picture Splashing your sky with red The shades of grey hiding behind the scarlet Stars Always there the shades of grey Haunting, whispering the life that could be But they are not visible, the shades of grey Read between the lines, they have crept into your painting, The tapestry providing refuge for doubt in shades of grey Between the black and the white Hiding behind the scarlet stars

Short, but says soooooooo much! Always was my fav type of poem.
I must say, I do like your choice of words. You used to the phrase "Shades of Grey" enough, but not too overdue it. It definitely emphasized the point at just the right amount. I love the line "Hiding behind scarlet stars."
Once again, good piece!
Keep it up!
