[hometext] => this is written straight off the cuff. Please let me know what you think
[bodytext] => The snowdrops poke through the layer of ice around the corner of my world. I search for the torch, The one that brings the hope of another chance. Stepping out the door, my foot cracks the floor, Polished glass, the ground a mirror to my soul. I catch my breath, Can't let on, lest the wind can take my thoughts, Carried on the sigh I let escape. The snowdrops nod, They know this world too well. They wait to bring the news They try to stop the hurt. Signalling a warmer time ahead. No more secrets, Freezing hearts, melting beams. The sun should once again be seen. Open my eyes, Too much light to see. The dark escapes unseen. I am new to this world. I have never known the joy. Snowdrops nodding. Welcome me with a sigh [comments] => 2 [counter] => 161 [topic] => 48 [informant] => winged [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )
