Theres no escaping
No way out, no more light now
Im left in the darkness, alone to cry
All alone with the demons
And the past that wont leave me
The memories still haunt me
I wake up and I want to scream:
Cant I leave this place?!?!
This home that has claimed me
This torture that blames me
The emptiness that has no boundaries
Consumes me in its black hole
Im screaming,
But no one hears my cries for help
Too late to breath
Trapped inside the sadness
That wont loosen its grip
Strangling me and taking the life thats left
Im lost and cant be found
Save yourself
Theres no gong back now

| Wow you said it Fairy, you have ripped the emotions out of my own heart and written something so meaningful to me. Although not intended to be written for me, I can reach out and touch your words as if they were mine, but knowing you have done a better job than I can writing your emotions down on paper. I can't seem to get in touch with mine long enough to know how to express myself. This was a magnificent piece. Sad subject, sad thing to be going through. Hold on somehow. Scream it out, let it out, you've done a good job of starting. Goodluck. |
