Array ( [sid] => 33331 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Revolving Doors [time] => 2004-01-31 14:46:14 [hometext] => I can't please everyone all the time. Someday, I will live to please myself. [bodytext] => I can't live this way anymore.
I can't be pushed into revolving doors.
Everyone wants me to go their way.
Please, listen, don't I have a say?

Guess not, huh? Well, it was worth a shot.
I can't lose anything, if nothing I've got.
I'm torn between worlds, but I'm only me.
It hurts to live this way, can't you see?

Freedom as a right seems to have passed me by.
I fall to my knees, and beg God to know why.
I get no answer, and so I stay,
pushed and pulled every which way.

I can't find the pride I use to have.
Oh, please tell me, what's a laugh?
I have learned to never talk back.
I've learned to like my room of black.

Someday, I will somehow find my voice.
I will finally have a say and choice.
I will come out of my darkened room.
My whole life will be renewed.

It will haunt you for eternity long,
when you realize, what you did wrong.
I won't be around to see your fate,
I'll be gone. You'll be too late.

wow this is so angry, sad and charged all at the same time. Great use of rhymin etc, etc, but your emotions really kinda force their way into your head, like a pheumatic drill! Awsome write and keep up the good work, because its very hard to mix many emotions in one piece, and still keep the format.
