Array ( [sid] => 32849 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => For whom I am! [time] => 2004-01-27 02:12:01 [hometext] => A friend told me to post this one, said it was deep or something like that. I consider it the truth about me. Hope you all like it. [bodytext] =>
Ask me what I'm worth
I'll tell you my desolation.
My appearance of sorrow
That bleeds through my every move.
It courses in my veins to show
My inner darkness as opposed to light.
Light in the soul dark in the body
For whom am I?

Ask me what I am
I'll tell you the epitome of low.
Shrouding to the ground with
Head in hands is my position
Of perfect posturic arch.
No one finds one that is low
And if they did why would
They even care to see an individual
For whom am I?

Ask me what I know
I'll tell you a great many things.
For with destitution comes time
To enhance the mind and enlighten the soul.
Show great wonders of the brain
To anyone that cares to listen
To a dark knowledge
For whom am I?

Ask me what angers me
I'll tell you my fears.
Fears of being this like is I
Until the day my body
Breathes it's last air and
Is transported to the place
That has been prepared, light
Into this dark emotion
For whom am I?

Ask me what I'll do
I'll tell you to go on with your life.
Care not for what rambles from
The mouth of a gray individual,
But live a life of happiness
And learn from what you
Have seen of the inhumane sorrows
For that is whom I am!

So what do I do now? I asked my self.
I can see no future, except that which resides on misery's shelf.
I have nothing to live for, nor do I care.
My spirit has left me, and still the responsibility I must bare.
I have no God to guide me, no lamp to light my way.
I crawl down this dark tunnel, my soul beginning to decay.
I thought I saw the light ahead, but no I did not see.
I soon found out, it was only my emotional instability.

That is who I am, who I will be,
You can try, but can never change me,
For I am me, For I am what you see,
Learn who you are, and Like I you will be free! I liked it. I felt it hit home on quite a few points. Nicely done.
