I am alone
It is getting late
A friend is supposed to meet
me at the gate
to my heart has been closed.
Running on empty I suppose
I can only dream of you
are in love with me. I am blue
skies between us
is a word not known.
I am alone.
The taste of your sweet lips
still lingers
The electrifying touch of your fingers
haunt me in my dreams
so beautiful it seems
you will not come here
I am waiting in fear
for love to disappear
into oblivion.
I go shattered at a loss
for words I am cross
plains, miles, land in between
you and I
want to cry
for our love has only grown
But still I am alone.
