[hometext] => Everyone has friends, everyone's lost friends. It's hard, and there's a lot to regret.
[bodytext] => They engaged in discourse A chatter buzzed, then, And a friendship arose, Awkward as it was. Private and public, both They talked of life, love, though they knew not of it, And of personal discovery. Diluted as they were by young age, Their emotions flowed as freely As a river, without rocks, Without hindrance, Through speech and time. And time was indiscriminant, Acting on them, emotions and all. They grew older, and perhaps Maybe a bit wiser. And they learned. Learned of what they had talked about So often in the past: Life, love and who they truly were. Indeed, each idea flared into A dramatic existence in its own time, Love, not the least of them. Each was meant to come about. Perchance meant also to die. As the river reached the ocean, It spilled into emptiness, Destroying itself. Such was their love. As time ticked away, Existing only in and of itself, Past and future neglected, so did they exist, aloof and unaware. No longer did the admiration For thought... for being... For life... gleam in their eyes. No longer. They witnessed together The decay of love. The atrophy of friendship. A diminishing and washing away of Themselves, their souls, into the sea. They were then without raiment in the world, Naked and alone for all to envision. They understood fear, despair and Separation. And it might only have been different If they had remained who they were That one fine day.
