In this very instant
there's nothing I want more
than to free these caged emotions
spill my heart onto the floor
I'd drown you with my love
needing me to breathe
so many hidden feelings
begging to be seen
On overwhelming fear I choke
only a whisper spoke
so afraid to let you see
all that's inside of me
I've rehearsed these lines
inside my head a thousand times
yet remain silent when you're near
outside this dream you disappear
You only exist in my mind
awake my heart you'll never find
so I'll gladly sleep forever
to wake without you never

I'm in a period now where this hit home perfectly and I guess I needed to read from someone else my emotions to finally come to terms with them. This was a simple poem expressed like no other.Kudos on a great job,
