put on my plastic, smiling mask,
face the world again,
awaiting the final struck at last...

close my eyes and wonder,
if i should even try,
close my eyes and think,
"i gotta hold in the cries"...!

once when some one started,
my walls around me fell,
i sat and gripped the table,
until my hands were sore as well!

i have to over come this,
but this, i can't shake off,
this holds all of my anger,
soo don't **** me off!

i hardly ever loose it,
i try to hold it in,
but now this thing is growing,
deep, under my skin!

i know It's there coz when i lost it,
the anger i felt was extreme!
it only happened in a few short seconds,
but i don't want to feel that again!

a face is little more than one of the many sides of any entity. Those who can only see the face will never appreciate the whole of anything.
Maybe if we weren't afraid to show when we were miserable then people would truly know when we were happy. A mixed message is better than a false message.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
