Where the sun throws her rays so bright
All the colors of lilac, french cream, and some buttercup rows
I did pick from your Garden my dear Lord; it was such a beautiful site
I hope you don’t mind, I know more will come again
For I am sure it’s not of private land, so I know it will mend
Oh how wonderful they smell
I just got them home; they withered some
I only hope with TLC, only time will tell.
I just wanted to see some color, release my negative load
That these wild and free flowers, their blooms come
Out again, and straighten up, to shine in my little abode
Thank You Lord for allowing me your blessings
For not always do we see your duly wise sessions
My how your garden seeks to cure those that plunder
The hurts and pains you take to your garden of wonder
My how your garden does grow
