Looking through the hour glass
Watching the time pass
Checking out the window
but only looking at the glass
wondering the difference
between the sand itself
wondering if someday
the time will run out
falling down the window pane
and onto the floor
Creating a beach
never-ending pour
of sand and time
Of pain and memories
draining into the carpet
And leaking out the door

I like this. You can get many different meanings out of it. Like are you talking about the hour glass, or life, or the lack of time in life. Atleast that is what I got out of it. Many different meanings. Very nice write..

This is a well written poem, i truly enjoyed it and i think it can hold differant meanings for each person. But very nicely done.
