Every hour it tears away
An obsession to rob me of sleep
Passing my mind every turn of the day
To have a heart full of love
And not a soul to give it to
No shoulder to cry on
To bring you up when you're feeling blue
No one to cuddle up with
Or to so much as hold your hand
No one to share triumph and laughter
To know your thoughts and understand
No one to share desires and wishes
No passionate eyes to fall into
And you know this most of all
The need to hear and say 'I love you'
So we've both had and lost love
And have never recaptured it since
Please, somewhere, let there be a heart
A kingdom in need of a prince

Hey v.s
this i an awesome peom i really connected to it because i have a friend thats experiencing what you've written about at this very moment actually she joined up yesterday from some nagging by me because her poems are mind blowing sometimes have a look at them her name is Fallen_eyes hehe she would love some good comments at the mo
As for this poem you strike again and this time with avengence ... a beautiful beautiful write about such longings, you have such an indescribable talent v.s

Oh hell, I've been commenting a lot and I'm feeling stupid for repeating the same words but this one is worth it so here it comes again....
The emotions underlying this poem are really clear and I can say that I felt most of them while reading it. I had to re read it twice because I didn't want to let somesmall thing slip since everything you wrote is so Damn true! The wording is impressive and the flow is easy going, understandable and nice. May that somebody find what his/her heart desires.......Very good one

Dear VS.,
You should stray more often, VS, because this write is lovely....of course sad, but then after I read it several times, I thought, I know what would help you to be Glad!
I lost a great love one time, VS, and I knew that if I sat around and thought of all that I had lost.....that would never do!
I stopped concentrating on myself, and found others that needed my love, charities, and community centers etc. You'd be surprized what a help you could be. You could volunteer at the schools to help young ones reads etc. All kinds of different experiences to help you get through! The only way to hold love is to give it away VS! And Love will tap you on the shoulder when you least expect it too!
I feel your pain, and please don't think I'm not sympathetic to it....But I want to see you stop hurting....and I know my plan will do just that!
It's tried and proven....so don't forget....go love someone, anyone, and while you do....you will also be loving you!

When I got to the last line, tears filled my eyes. Every kingdom needs a prince. When you write like this in my opinion you are at your all time best. You have such a gift for making the reader laugh, cry or feel your words-it's something that is natural that flows from within you, you are blessed.
This is my all time favorite and it is a truly wonderful poem.

| I must have missed last time you wrote like this. I liked it quite a bit. It was different than the music type style from before. I do think this is one of the better ones of yours that I have seen. |
