Along this long stretch of road,
On this midnight bus,
Looking at all the faces, so many look so alone,
So few that show not even a fuss,

On this stretch to nowhere,
Silence fills these seats,
Turmoil stenches the air,
So many faces, so many unaccomplished feats,

They all look around,
So much they all have to hide,
Some looking as if their life has been knocked to the ground,
Yet we keep it all hidden inside.

We all have felt the dangers,
All of us looking for a sign,
A bus full of familiar strangers,
Looking for a glimpse of faith that is so hard to find.

We have seen our faces here before,
All the screams in one ear and out the other,
Our dreams scattered all over that bus' floor,
All looking for some sort of serenity to smother.

Down that long road, around another bend,
Life’s bus is a journey we all seem to take,
We all hope this ride of pain will soon end,
Sitting here screaming silently, trying to awake.

We go silently into the cold pale night,
Go looking for our reason to be,
Hoping to win just one single fight,
This lonely bus ride, in hope to find a new me!

We all like the same in this place,
We all have been here one time before,
Can you see it on their face,
We are tired of being ignored! Good poem. I read your journal about how people dont read your poems and/or comment but you do take the time to read and comment theirs. I feel the same way. I just thought I'd let you know my feelings on that. I love the like "Looking for a glimpse of faith that is so hard to find" Its good. Once again, nice poem.

Watching and observing people allows you to see so many things. I thought your poem was excellent and I look forward to reading the next one.
Well done.

I really liked what the poem was about. You can really learn a lot from observing a person. It was a great poem but you have had better. Take that in a good way.
