Or so they say
That's their excuse
For walking away

The betrayal of trust
A treason 'gainst love
It darkens the sky
No light from above

Where has love gone?
For it took my heart
What have I done?
For it tears me apart

No longer is the grass so green
No longer sings the dove
My world is turned a dismal gray
Where, oh where is love?

For love to work
There must be two
Who give up themselves
And swear to be true

For the heart that is loving
Must be willing to give
Are you willing to die
So that she might live? [comments] => 5 [counter] => 156 [topic] => 22 [informant] => wachumiri [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

Ah! I can read it, now that it's no longer in your horrific handwriting! Good job.

A beautiful poem. I'd say it's amazingly accurate for someone that's never gone through it. I hope you never do. Great write.

So sad. A different side of you I don't often see. Such passion you have here. It is wonderful. Such conviction and dedication and committment. Absolutely wonderful. I could go on. I love the way you're examining yourself and even questioning life. Just wonderful.
