[bodytext] => I feel sorry for myself and shed a tear. It rolls off my body and joins the stream of water in the bathtub rushing to hide into the dark drain. I compose myself. A ridiculous endeavor, I am naked as a newborn alone in the foggy shower. What might be the point of composure? What might be the point of pretense? I feel sorry for myself, I’ve shed a tear. Why don’t I shed another and even many more? Why don’t I face my self-centeredness? Admit to my complaints? Why pretend to be something I’m not, selfless and strong? The truth hidden within a shower of droplets rushing down into the drain, is that I felt sorry for myself and shed a tear.
