I try to carry on
Even though it seems pointless
Even though it seems wrong
Going through the motions
The same as the day before
On just the mere notion,
That tomorrow will bring more

I would cry if I thought you would hear
If I thought you would care
Day dreaming tomorrows filled with cheer
Isolated existence desensitizing emotions
Feeling such pain without shedding a tear

Stone cold armor set forth
To guard the boundaries of my soul
Using a smile as a shield
Fooling you all is my goal

Pondering the thought of eternal sleep
My body lying there in such peace
Everyone standing in shock, not making a peep
Wondering what they might have done
To the girl that they never saw weep

Alone amongst thousands
I try to carry on
Even though it seems pointless
Even though it seems wrong
Going through the motions

Powerful,Nice write.Life sucks sometimes,For us all,but try and find something rather then someone you can hold onto,something that will keep you strong.Suicide poems always touch me in a very deep way,but if you have attempted it like you obviously already have with no success.. it's telling you that it ain't your time.So try and look to that as something positive.Your time isn't over yet.God Bless and may there be happier years to come... First off, this is a great write. I am glad you failed at your attempt! You have a so much talent. Life does suck sometimes....and for some people it seems like most of the time. I don't know if where you are with God, but the nagging thoughts in your head are not from Him. He wants you to have life and have it abundantly. He promises that he knows the plans He has for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to giv you hope and a future. There are days when I cling to those verses so tightly because they are the only things I have. I hope you find some encouragement in them. I will be praying for you.

i can really realte to this poem i can't count the number of times i've tried suicide or throught about it but after each time something good happened so keep on going for life and remember this "suicide is a permanet soultion for a tempory problem." Also don't forget your friends and family how they would feel.

I dont like that saying that:"suicide is a permanet solution to a teporay problem" I personally think that its a solution to permanat problem in the attempters mind.
