Wandering around a desolate domain
Wonder why the loner runs,
Maybe there'll be answers when tomorrow comes.

Yet morning's long past
And sorrow's come at last
And it's whisking away
All hopes for the waning day.

No turning back
Because courage is what you lack
But no going forward
Because you've lost all you've ever adored.

Faceless, friendless, blank face
Escape from all your previous disgrace
Now's your time but you're taking it well
You fear no death nor earthly Hell.

You've lived it before
And you know that within your core
If not anything beside
Because your own time is all that you abide.

But blank faces still have souls
Though it may contain some tatters and holes
There's still hope no matter what you are
And it's not your fault they've judged you from afar. Michelle- I didn't get rid of it, it just stopped for a whopping half hour and I jotted this down. Writer's blocks come and go as they please, unfortunately.

I'm glad that cursed writer's block gave you a break, for this is one great poem. I find this to echo my life in many ways. Don't worry, this was awesome. Your writer's block poetry is better than any of my stuff!

Keep writing, or only have 15 minutes next time...,
-V.S.

Writers block curses us that way but from it comes great things. The poem is amazing and the way you capture emptiness to winter is beautiful. I randomly came upon this poem but am happy I did, I am now going to go and read the rest of your stories which I'm sure will be wonderful as well.
