[hometext] => I'm a beginner in poetry (this is the fifth poem I have ever written), so I could use some constructive criticism.
[bodytext] => When mind muses beyond these meager strands And its spacious brine, cradled by sands, Beyond waters’ blush, as sun sparks ocean, As a saffron trail marks their devotion; When spirit’s stress combusts on collision, And singes veiled by bliss I envision, With the celestial beacon, as a pyre; My feath’ry soul transcends even higher. It soars to new scapes, with a needle’s knot, Those heather-like scenes, through young rain it trots – In reverie, I gaze through distant lands; My troubles showered from these meager strands.
