To be certain your past is kept away
What stories do you tell to keep you safe
How do you tell your spouse about your second faith
How do you tell him the things that make you thrive
And what awful things make you feel unalive
How do you tell him the feelings that you contain
And how your hidden tears fall like rain
Should you tell him things of the past
Should it matter seems it's hidden behind a mask
Do you dare tell him the torture you suffered
And how you watched a person fearfully smothered
Do you tell him about the lives you saw taken
And how you questioned if it was forsaken
Do you tell him about the lives you callously took
The pain you caused and how you made their lover look
Do you tell about the evilness that's inside
And how all of this was caused by uneeded lies
Do you tell him not to worry, that now all of this isn't done
Telling him you don't know what in the future is to come
Do you tell him it's over with and never to be mentioned
Or only tell half, leaving him with suspicion
Do you take the risk of him loving you less
Because you unthoughtfully got caught up in this mess
Do you take the chance of someone else finding out
Then they don't question you and go off of their doubts
Having them start telling though they don't know what it's about
Questioning if you should kill them, or take a different route? Some things are better left hidden, some things need to be told. The hard part, is separating the two. Good write.

This was good although I thought there were 2 many questions although it added to the mysteriousness of the peom. Keep up the writing.
