The story that never ends

This I write now, part of the beginning or the end ? A story in the midst of telling Ink yet to dry on the pages of my life Not even sure if there is a next line to be written
It was you who placed this pen in my hand You who opened this book I was never expecting to start There will never be an empty page as long as you are here to inspire me Take my hand, you know how to guide me
Will there be many words Or only a few ? I have no way of knowing A new chapter just begun
My thoughts flow like water down the mountain after rain My spirit rises like a phoenix from the ashes Mind racing, heart beating Anticipating the next paragraph
So here I sit in the dim of fading light Looking at the words already passed before I realise this story cannot end here So much more still to be told
Let us write it, together you and I Let us detail precious moments Can we fill as many pages as we have dreams? Can we live the story that never ends?
