3 strikes and Im out
I think thats enough
Ill not scream or shout
Ive had it with that stuff
It just doesnt matter anymore
Im tired of the pain
I hurt through to the core
I must have been insane
Why did I even try?
I know better than that
From a man, loves always a lie
And once again, I fell in the trap
Love is too cruel
And the 3rd times the charm
Ive been such a fool
And caused too much harm
It took lots of time and energy
And Ive felt every word
I now see things more clearly
But feeling I can no longer afford
Analyzing my emotion
Has been such a waste
All though a pleasant notion
I acted in haste
I dont want anyone to know
Not even myself
Once again, all feeling Ill stow
Ive put my heart back on the shelf
I dont care whos fault it is
To me, its all the same
Whether its mine or its his
It just causes pain
Cancun with you was a dream
But I shouldnt have let myself care
No matter how great it can seem
Lifes truly just a nightmare
Ive come back to reality
And remembrance has begun
All this feeling is insanity
So Im going back to numb
For all that its worth
I really did try
But for the sake of my health

| 'From a man, love’s always a lie' *Winces* Ouch... Good write though. I have found never to say such a thing unless I fully meant it in the way I was saying it to the person. I learned that when I was very young. I hope things get better and you find an actual man instead of another little boy. |

Sweetheart, I'm stuck in Frankfurt and I can do nothing but think of you. I can't get to my email because of limitations Delta puts on these computer. I thought I could contact you by leaving a messege on your poem. Hopefully you'll check it.
