Array ( [sid] => 29534 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => life with love [time] => 2003-12-16 20:45:25 [hometext] => one of my first attempts to understand my feelings for someone who never knew how or what i felt [bodytext] => the times have changed and nothing stays the same
those are the times I hardly know my name
to see the fire of life in your eyes
the love and passion you can't disguise
to see you after all these years
I realized there was never any fear
the beauty from before
has matured by ten score
the sparkle in your eyes are like high polished gems
the melody in your voice like a choir singing hymns
the beating of my heart races with each thought of you
but i'm still unsure what i'm to do
to say it is lust
would be unjust
with never a thought of you in that way
all I can do is wait another day
to see your smile light up any room
i would walk through anything and face my own doom
I wouldn't ask for just your body in that way
i would want all of you every day
i can't promise anything at all
but i can steady you before you could fall
I would look to the stars and heavens above
and scream out loud my never ending love
after all the times I buried you in my mind
you are still there as I have come to find
I fell for you all those years ago
and in my mind you're as pure as new fallen snow
these are simple words from a simple man
all I can ask is, Will you have me as I am?
