There's an abundance of cheer!
Reindeer with red noses, smiles,
kindnesses, with generous generosity.
'Tis no different at our poetry site.
The poems are all written with such
delight, and placed in our stockings
both day and night!

There's thin ones, and fat ones,
short ones, and long ones,
Norman's muttons, Jaymee's tuffins,
Shari's waterfalls and lovers, Wrybod's trees..
Lighthouses, cab drivers, ants galore,
Critter's 6 dogs, slipping on the floor!

Different colors for different reapers.
Dark, sleek, weak, meek, keepers.
Attitudes, moody, remorse, and, sad of course.
Textures fine, silky sublime, smooth, coarse.
Affects some, others bland, no man's land.
Beaches, resorts, parks, heat without fan.
Sweaty, sugar sweet, lotion for a tan!

Beautiful, mesmerizing, wonderfully
tantalizing, memorializing, like Awesome!
Ho-hum, gladsome, cruelsome, gruelsome.
Suicide, bloody, twisted, scary, blurry,
blotchy, slicing, dicing, bleak, reek, lofty..
Crying statues, houses that talk.
Reach for his hand, and with God walk.
Ballads, serenades, country song..
Strangers, friends, angels, demons,
sermons, Austrians, omens, sing-along!

Each poem an extension of a soul.
Wrapped carefully with a personality whole.
Tied with heart strings, torn from the chest., or news of babies coming, bubbling, no rest.
Placed carefully, tenaciously, considerately
under the Posting Tree at YPDC........
Hoping every one will notice and see,
Wishing you all a very happy Holiday,
"Mistletoe placed over my head,
hoping you'll kiss me!"
Yippppeeeeeee!

Wow, Connie Sue. This was beautiful. I (and i'm sure everyone else, too) loved it. It feels like we're all gathered around a fire place, with a flurry of snow just outside. Very heart-felt.

Truly,
-V.S.

'Critters' Lady, you are the best
You write your poems with wit and zest
--------------------------------------------------
I for one appreciates
That this gift-like poem commemorates
The noel season coming soon,
We get from 'critters' a wonder boon.

The spirit to which she alludes
Puts all of us in happy moods.
I hoist herewith the 'critters' dream
Nothing else but Irish Creme.
