darkness fades in,
grasping for balance,
reality's own sin.
So slight of hand,
subtlety, an art,
yesterday was tomorrow,
the end is where to start.
Flashes of white,
sparkles of hate,
mirrors of eyes,
which one be fate?
Answers and confusion,
awe and pain,
all day it hurts,
all night it rains.
Wake from the slumber,
hear your own cries,
all those many voices,
screaming all the lies.
The dark one here,
the weird one there,
a tree to crash into,
a push from the stairs.
The constant assault,
leaves no room to breathe,
sends one so far back,
nothing left, just seethe.
One bond to break,
the others then follow,
what one casts aside,
another may allow.
A quiet monster there,
a raging one here,
the will is swiftly broken,
the heart in constant fear.
Transgressions from the past,
retribution for the sins,
justice comes tomorrow,
but no one ever wins. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 249 [topic] => 13 [informant] => jaeann [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Oh Jaymee how wonderful it is to have you back. Your words are welcome in my track! This poem really hits home....justice comes tomorrow but no one ever wins! I love that line very much! 'Tis so true, there's no perfect justice today...someone ends up really hurting and having to give away!
Lovely write.....so like you!
Love you, Jaymee with lots of hugs
