My heart is aching so bad,
that the tears begin to turn to ice.
Freezing against my face,
I slowly peel each tear off my face.
As the pain of my heart,
slowly increases,
my heart rips in half,
with jagged edges down the middle.
I still stare at the pictures,
of us together,
hoping it might help me cure,
but it only makes it worse.
I need to say goodbye,
but not sure how.
So I guess this will have to do.

Falling one by one,

Awww I know, letting go is so hard. I can't say how long it can take cause I still am trying, and the pain is easing but it is still there - it has been a year...and still going. Things have a way of unhealing too just when you think everything is going to be alright. So I wish you all the best. Good write too. :)
