Array ( [sid] => 28050 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => How Could I Not See [time] => 2003-11-27 03:01:24 [hometext] => I wrote this when one of my *use-to-be best friends* desided she hated me. [bodytext] => How could I not see
That you weren't the friend
I thought you would be
You said we were best friends
Forever and true
And that there was nothing
For me you wouldn't do
But look at you now
It's not even fair
Was our "friendship"
Even really there?
Though you say you were never really my friend
I can see it in your eyes
You really wanted to be my friend at one point
But just like that, that feeling died.
Why do you not like me so much?
I don't know the answer to that question
But if I did
I'd change to get your attention
I know losing you is going to hurt
But I bet its for the better
And if you really want to know how I feel
Listen and understand every word and letter
I really thought we were friends
But you helped me see the truth.
You see, friends don't judge you.
They love you through and through. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 427 [topic] => 6 [informant] => Breezer08 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 14 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => AngryPoetry )

when you are friends with someone...
he sees you through, understands and listens to you no matter what...
you feel "safe" with that person.. i hope you will find one that will truly be your true friend till the end...
great and inspiring thought.. :)

I'm sorry this happened to you. I am lucky enough to have found the three best friends anyone could ever ask for, they have helped me get this far, and i thank the Gods and Goddesses every day for their being there for me. One day you will find that person, you've maybe even found them already. People that can do that to you are not worth your time. The poem was very well written too.
