And all through the house
The family was praying
Yes even my spouse

The family all knelt
By the fireplace with care
In hopes that sweet Jesus
Would soon here our prayer

The children all nuzzled
Snug in their beds
While away in the manger
Still played in their heads

Now I with my bible
And dad has his too
Threw up to Jesus
A prayer for you and me

Then out on the lawn
We heard a loud clatter
I rushed to the window
To see what’s the matter

And what do you think
Out there I did see
But a family of six
Singing carols to me

They sang jingle bells
And winter wonderland
And when they were done
I gave them a hand

Then I gave them some fudge
And hot cocoa too
God bless you I said
All my best for you

Then this family of six
Went on their way
Then on my knees I went
For the family to pray

We wrapped al the presents
Before heading to bed
I love you God bless
Were the last words we said?

Then early the next morn
We heard shouts of glee
As the children awoke
And ran to the tree

We smiled with joy
To see the delight
But saved the best gift
For later that night

Later that night
When all dishes were done
I gathered my husband
My daughter and son

Then gave them the
Best gift of em all
The gift of sweet Jesus
And his mission call

From the day of his birth
To the day he arose
And this was the gift
That kept them all on their toes

Merry Christmas
And God Bless
