One boy sits alone today
One tear no longer there
One hand reaches for one gun
One bullet picked with care
One arm draws one curtain closed
One orange moon forever lost
One crimson bottom lip quivers
One prize, one mortal cost
One mouth begins to salivate
One reward to stop the chasing
One finger squeezes gently
One hammer strikes one casing
One explosion shatters silence
One spinning bullet shatters skull
One brain is torm, one hurried flight
One gruesome painting on one wall
One body soaring downwards
One dull thud, soon lying cold
One picture splattered grey and red
One thousand words are left untold
One girl who he could never have
(One who whispers in the hall...
One scornful laugh, one turned up nose)
One league above them all
One boy lies alone today
One blue eye a bloody hole
One more statistic shrugged aside
One less neglected soul.
