I seemed to lose my life

Searching always for something
Always finding strife

Breaking down over nothing
Tears utter the worst of pains

Crying for my lost touches

Maybe when the room is empty
Or when the lights fade out again
Maybe when I can stop thinking of a future
That future can finally begin

Broken torture, trusting nothing
I feel nothing, I am nothing

Never fitting together
The pieces fall apart

Why can't I get my act together?
When will the good life start?

When the walls start closing in on us
And the space disappears

Maybe when I'm not so tired
I will make my new face

Mold the plaster to the mask
Show it off in a new place

Fake the pleasures of being made
And feel the pain that faking sends

Faking finds us nothing
No one and no amends

Maybe I could break this stupid mask
And we can find together

When this torture of faking ends

Smiling calming everywhere

When it's finally done with endings
And all beginning lose their style

Take me away from this broken place

When my eyes turn darker
And my mouth opens wide

When words that shake the foundations
You can see inside

Close off my tomorrows

Maybe when I'm done finishing nothing
We can start again

Maybe when I'm done with endings
I can work on my begin

These lights fade out forever
Eyes adjusting to the dark

Maybe I can get my future together
Maybe for a start

Whoah life has a lot of questions, is confusing, has endings and beginnings. I thought this write was great, sad, dark and maybe a little bit of hope. Thanks for sharing. Take care.

Emma.
