FRIENDSHIPS DOORS

Friends will come and friends will go,
But the saddest thing of all you know,
Is to fill one’s heart with friends so dear,
Only to lose them and not have them near.
Friendship is something each one of us needs,
To forget one’s friends only makes the soul bleed,
Care and giving and an understanding way,
Will help brighten one lost soul’s lonely day,
To turn your back and forget one’s friends,
Says you never cared is the message it sends,
No matter what friends may have done,
At one time together, two friends became one.
I can’t understand how one turns away,
From a long cherished friendship of yesterday,
Whatever happened to cause friendships to part,
Remember forgiveness? It’s still in your heart.
The seeds of words that friends sow today,
May be reaped upon them in an unexpected way,
So understand that the loss may be yours,
When you come to realize they’ve closed friendships doors.

Whoah they turned their back on you from something you said and didn't get you to explain...that is harsh! I went through a very long experience and process of losing every single friend that I had in this world...besides one who didn't live in the same state as me and was not involved...and they all blamed me and turned their backs on me and it took me more than a year to get over it...I am still not completely over it, it never goes away either...someone brought the issue back up not too long ago and I didn't realise that they too were disappointed in how I dealt with what happened...but friends are meant to be there and to help you deal with things...instead I had no one...so anyway all I'm trying to get at is this poem is absolutely true. I hope that everything turns out alright for you. Thanks for sharing this great write. Take Care.

Emma.
