Snuggled up closely next to me
Your body, so warm and tender
No where else, would I want you to be

Our arms around each other
Your leg, draped over mine
The softness of your face upon my chest
And our heartbeats keeping time

Such serenity, as you lay there
Oblivious to my waking, no stir
Without a care to disturb your dreams
There's no reason, it hadn't occurred

The pleasure of having you with me
You by my side throughout the night
Fills my heart with joy and wonder
I can't think of anything so right

If there was a wish I could be granted
It would be for this moment to stay
That this night with you would never end
For the rising sun to go away

That's such a sweet poem, but it made me sad at the same time... I remember that feeling all too well.
