[title] => Losing a Friend
[time] => 2003-11-02 21:21:22
[hometext] => I lost a friend, as simple as that.
[bodytext] => BOOM! It hit me. I just lost a friend. Realization coming out of nowhere. But when did it end? She sat beside me, but was miles away. We would talk on the phone, but she didn't call today. My friend had only two years to this place. She was enchantingly exotic. She had humor and a rare edge, like the throats subtle sting after gin and tonic. I admired her, I envied her. She was what I wanted to be. Her optimistic bravery was boldingly spoken. Her pessimistic coward was open and free. I don't think she sees me anymore. Like one morning she woke up and my life quickly came to and end. She seems happy, gossiping with her new pal. Please, realize you, too, are losing a friend. When come a loss, I gain another.
