so innocent and shy
to fit right in
anything i would try
they were really nice at first
so proper and polite
then took me to their secret places
far from anyone's sight
i trusted and idolized them
from this they already knew
used it so against me
there was nothing i could do
i was brave and let them know
i ran away and told
all i got was punished
for lying with stories oh so bold
so many haunted years
i suffered right on through
for every one that ended
another picked up too
it mattered not the relationship
my mind, soul and body they took
family, friend and preacher man
every one of them had a hook

"we must abstain from our sins, my child.....
what we've been doing is so wrong.....
i've given it to god's hands now, but.....
let me introduce you to my throng......
now,
Ssssshhhhhh.....
stare at the staind glass windows
hush now, don't say a word....
even if you tremble....
you'll not ever be heard"

for every violation
came from the hand of a lord's deacon
and every cry for help
was snuffed out for a christian's beacon
within the halls of god's house
sat a lonely battered girl
he may have walked upon the water
but she was the casted pearl ! [comments] => 5 [counter] => 226 [topic] => 48 [informant] => jaeann [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

I really hope this didn't happen and is not true.... I also hope it's not what I think it is... However if it is and you still have your faith then you are stronger than most people could ever hope to be. I like the poem and applaud a person as such.

Oh, my dear Jaymee...I hear you, dear,
for you see they did that to me too! And I can name a million others. They are hypocrites, and deserve the tar and feathers! Now don't do as I do, but do as I say....watch these men,
they won't do those things during the day. They live in the darkness....and now in millions of little children's mind...even when grown....their atrocious tales you will still find. I was for forty years, as faithful as anyone person who was imperfect could be, but when their time came for me to bow down to them......they said, "You worship we!" I said, "Go fly your self-righteous kites.! You don't worship the God of Love....you are Snakes and Vipers....Hypocrites, without heart and without love!" Numerous many today...most only wear a robe for protection or money. Religion is dead, and that's isn't funny! I know Jaymee....but don't let those corrupt, hypocrites and apostates keep you and yours from his wonderful Love.
I love you too
lovingcritters
ConSue
