|
surrounded in darkness
cloaked in memories
i wish i'd forgotten
plagued by a past
i can not outrun
each corner leads
no where i haven't been
but still i ponder each turn
though none will set me free
blood pores from scars
long since healed
each a memory
that insnares my soul
dark demons cloud my mind
corrupting my thoughts
makeing me question
where there should be no doubt
caught forever in my own dark thoughts.
