No one can know
The solicitation of my soul, demeaning
Endeavoring in the task of finding myself
among the tragedies of this oblivion

No one will ever know

Gently drifting whispers of the ocean’s tide
Will not bring me serenity
from the screeching,
clawing, and
gnawing of the pitiful creatures inside my head
they reach with there inhuman claws
dripping with the scarlet tears of my throbbing heart
scratching my self-esteem into shattered pieces of piteous matter
they discretely taunt me with their realities of my past

I am in this hellish thing they call a body
A soul
Never to break free
They’ll tear at me until nothing is left

And no one knows
No one will ever know

I am deadened in this palace of frozen grace
With this scorching inferno of soulless emotions
In this location I will eternally linger
My own personal hell, ensnared within my mind

I’m dieing inside.
Wont you come join me?

I know this feeling, the way you wrote this was incredible, the shift from wordplay to graphic imagery showed the mental resoulution and the still continuing inner struggle, the last two lines are heay, were they writtin in sarcasm or was I projecing slef loathing.

This is a cool poem, you have a lot of courage to post the types of poems that you post. I fret over some of the poems that I post. I am learning to not do that any longer.
This is a very good write.
