Array ( [sid] => 25766 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => My Soul [time] => 2003-10-25 22:27:51 [hometext] => This is one of the many poems I haven't let anyone see yet, I hope you like it, I have opened my dusty book poetry and will now post from it. The Phantom [bodytext] => Eyes are the windows to the soul,
Among the misery lies the gold,
Love lost is love found,
A single heartbeat is a lonely sound,

Curiosity runs wild,
You call me a fool, and I just smile,
My days are covered by a blanket of night,
Leaving me to want the warmth of light,

The sands of time, are known to be unkind,
A man full of pride has been left to die,
Making my residents in the cemetery of broken love,
Lying in pain as my body is covered in blood,

A soul that once was lifted has been tossed aside like flour shifted,
I've been told this was a mere graze wound to the heart,
Would you like to put money on that, it wasn't your world that just fell apart,
Where the red fern grows is where I buried my soul.

Forever Faithful
