Its no use pretending that things would be right
I have nothing more to say.
I'll get along without your sweet presence
You just closed the door and pushed me away.
Never gonna trust anyone again
I don't wanna start with someone new
'Cause I couldn't bear to see it end
Just like me and you
No, I never wanna feel the pain
Of remembering how it used to be
Never gonna trust anyone, just the way I trusted you
Dont have anyone who needs me
Someone I've needed so long
afraid, I have no choice but to go where life leads me
And somehow I know I'll be strong
When I was feeling cold and all the city streets are grey
Walking all alone and watching how the children play
Voices in the wind and faces from the past go dancing by
They're asking why
Is there anyone for me, everytime I go away
Is there anyone for me, thinking of me everyday
Is there a destiny, words I never dare to say
I didn't care to be with you
now you're stuck in my mind
All I ever wanted
was to be what you needed
cause something so strong
it could never be wrong.
I won't let you down, those words you said to me
It's echoing in my mind Of what would never be
I'm standing here alone, the memories remain
The same familiar home, but nothing looks the same
I'm standing here alone, can't tell if I'm awake
Reality is lost in this dream I can't escape
