I'm sorry I was not there that day
It hurt too deep inside
It's hard for me to see things change
I never wanted to say goodbye

Awww nooooo this is awfully sad. I know what you mean. I have been the person who couldn't say goodbye and the person on the not recieiving a goodbye. But obviously I am not dead, so this is probably a little different to what you mean...still it is sad to watch them go, but you might hurt youreslf or feel guilty if you don't. Imagine how they feel too.
I thought this was an excellent write. Thank you for sharing this. All the best.

i know what is is like to say good bye i hate having to do it. i've had to say good bye more than once and i will regret never saying good by to one person though but oh well it was a great poem i loved it
