Thank you dear Mother
for the wonderful
memories you made
for us all!

The joys, the laughter,
The lessons,
'Twas all One Big Adventure
And you stood tall!

Having you as a Mother
Was like going to a Banquet,
Or dancing at a Ball.

You worked so hard,
Sometimes into the night!
I'll always remember your
"Funny Jokes" and how
everything had to be just "Right!"

Rest now from your labors and toil.
For ashes to ashes, and dust to dust
We all go back to the soil.

You knew we have a very loving Judge
in the heavens above.
With a heart filled with forgiveness
and much love.
You used to say, "How unloving for it
all to end this way!"
That's why I know, God willing,
We'll see you again one day.

Sleep well Mom,
You deserve a long rest.
Thank you for touching our lives.
You gave your life the very best
that you had!.

We will miss you,
but you wouldn't want us to be sad.
So, we will celebrate your life
and give you a great big hand
You were the Best in all the Land!

(Then we all stood and gave her
memory a standing ovation!)

She would have hated it, every single word!
It was the highlight of my "filtering career."
She started the ugliness, but I finished it with love......she was gone....my talk was given
without the slightest bit of fear!
